"The ref made the count without looking at the timekeeper, which is within the rules" I watched the video, and used a stopwatch, and Douglas absolutely got 13 seconds to rise, however, one person said the following in response: I have always believed Mike Tyson should have been awarded the winner in an 8th round stoppage during their 1990 Japan fight, as Douglas was given a 13 second (long) count when Mike knocked him down.
